Liesl Elder - PHILANTHROPY ADVISOR
Director of Development, the University of Oxford, Liesl Elder has been working in educational fundraising since 1993, and has held roles in both the United States and the UK. She has expertise in annual funds, major gifts, campaign management, alumni relations, marketing, public relations and corporate events.
In 2011, she joined the team at the University of Oxford to lead the Oxford Thinking Campaign into the future. The Campaign has achieved over £1.8bn to date and is the largest educational campaign in Europe.
James Gillies - Land management advisor
James Gillies has 20 years’ practical experience in habitat creation and land management, helping land and estate owners to make the most of their land. He offers both land management and consultancy services. In 2016 he was accepted as a Member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (MBIAC), a body which recognises and promotes agricultural consultants.
Together with his expert team, James has undertaken major projects across the UK for diverse organisations including, The Forestry Commission, The Freshwater Habitats Trust, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), Natural England and The National Trust.
