WHAT IS TOE2?
TOE2 is an exciting venture set up through the Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC) to initiate and support the strategic development of community environmental projects in Oxfordshire. TOE2 will build on the work and networks developed by its predecessor TOE, a funder of community and environmental projects from 1998 to 2010.
TOE2 is a charity set up to make a tangible difference to Oxfordshire's environment. Many thanks are due to Grundon Waste Management, who have agreed to use TOE2 to distribute their landfill tax credits for the benefit of Oxfordshire. TOE2 is currently seeking strategic funding partners who would like to work with us to achieve real change for Oxfordshire.
TOE2 provides guidance, support and funding to communities wishing to deliver real and lasting improvements to their local environment in one of the following areas of activity -
• Promoting and improving the biodiversity of Oxfordshire's wildlife habitats and species
• Encouraging and developing energy efficiency and the sustainable use of renewable resources
• Increasing access to the local countryside and green spaces
TOE2 is both a grant seeking and a grant making organisation, working closely with other key environmental organisations in Oxfordshire to ensure that both national and county strategies are delivered at the community level.
