Applying for funding...
Before submitting an application, check here to find out if your project is eligible, then contact the Trust Administrator for further details. TOE funds projects which fall within its funding strategy; we encourage all applicants to consider the environmental benefits and impacts of their projects.
All projects should be located within 10 miles of a landfill site; please call or email TOE if you are not sure where the nearest landfill site is.
Does your project fall within one of the following categories:
- The provision, maintenance or improvement of a public amenity such as a park, recreation ground, community building or footpath/bridleway? (Category D)
- The conservation or promotion of biological diversity through the restoration or enhancement of a BAP priority species or habitat? (Category Da)
- The maintenance, repair or restoration of a building or structure of historic or architectural interest? (Category E)
If your project falls within category D or E, does it have public access for a minimum of 2 days a week?
Is your project non-profit making?
Does your project demonstrate good environmental practice?
Have you started work on your project? We cannot fund projects retrospectively.
Have you sought funding from other sources? TOE is unlikely to provide 100% funding for projects.
